Deck the Halls with Boughs of Gadgetsss:
Rivet International Participates in Wal-Mart Christmas Countdown
TechTank Tour
San Diego, CA - November 15, 2006 -
Rivet International, developer of innovative and stylish carrying
solutions for mobile devices, is ramping up for the holidays
by joining Wal-Mart’s Christmas Countdown TechTank Tour.
This traveling expo will introduce communities across the
country to leading consumer electronics products currently
available at Wal-Mart stores.
The tour begins on November 18 and will feature two TechTanks
- tractor-trailers converted into electronic educational showcases.
One TechTank will travel throughout Texas, and the other will
make stops in New Mexico, Arizona, California and Nevada.
The vehicles will spend two days at each location, visiting
schools in the mornings to educate children on the everyday
importance and relevance of technology. Local residents can
board the TechTank at Wal-Mart stores in the afternoons and
evenings to learn about and experience the hottest gadgets
available this holiday season, including several of Rivet’s
accessories for MP3 players. Consumers will also have the
opportunity to win a Rivet RHYTHM Earphone Lanyard or a GRAB
iPod case by competing in nightly Xbox 360
gaming tournaments, featuring Microsoft’s Halo 2.
Among the products being featured on the Christmas Countdown
Tour are Rivet’s RHYTHM Earphone Lanyard, GRAB case
for 30/60GB iPods and RHYTHM GRAB combo pack for iPod nanos.
A blend of style and function, the RHYTHM Earphone Lanyard
delivers superior sound quality, and like the iPod GRAB, provides
users with multiple wearing options and carrying solutions
for their MP3 players. With these leading edge Rivet accessories,
all available at Wal-Mart stores, consumers can always be
fashionably connected to their
MP3 players.
"The Christmas season is a special time of year, and
we are thrilled to bring that excitement, energy and awe through
the TechTank to Wal-Mart stores across the country,"
said Raleigh Wilson, CEO of Rivet International. "Our
integrated earphones and carrying solutions make it easier
for consumers to use their favorite music players either at
home or on the go. They are ideal gifts for any music lover.”
"Through the Christmas Countdown Tour, members of each
local community can truly experience technology and the features
that make each product a great holiday gift," said Robert
Richardson, president of R3 Media Group, the company that
operates the Wal-Mart TechTank Tours. "The support and
enthusiasm from consumer electronics leaders like Rivet gives
Wal-Mart customers a unique opportunity to try the latest
gear and make our tours such an effective way to showcase
the Wal-Mart Electronics Department."
